CHAPTER one

ABOUT THE INTERCOURSE

Types of Intercourse

Sexual intercourse  actually involves  three distinct experiences  masquerading as one.  Sometimes  the three events  occur simultaneously, sometimes in succession, and often separately.

The first  type of sexual intercourse  is reproductive.  It is simple, straightforward, easily understood, and  relatively  speaking  unpopular.  In the average person’s lifetime, reproductive sex (or reprosex) occurs on about ten occasions or less. All the requirements of his form of sexuality can be managed  nicely in three or four minutes and probably could be done better by a disinterested third party- as it is occasionally in artificial  insemination.  Repro sex problems is merely a means of introducing sperm to egg.

Obtaining the maximum enjoyment  from sexual intercourse requires knowledge.  Our modern society is careful to teach people how to run their automobiles but deliberately avoids teaching them how to run their sexual  organs.

After the  usual course in sex education, the high  school senior emerges with the  amazing knowledge  that two things somehow fit together.  That, too, is a joke, but a grimmer one.  If the schools wasted less  time on the physiology of reproduction with all the beautiful diagrams of frantically swimming sperm  (which nobody  cares about anyhow) and spent more time on the physiology of male sex organs (which everybody cares about), this might be a happier world.
